What kind of concert can I expect?
This is a pop/rock concert featuring Frank Turner and his longtime backing band, The Sleeping Souls. Irving Plaza's approximately 1,025-person capacity creates a close-up setting for a high-energy live show.
How long does a Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls concert usually last?
Concert length can vary depending on the set and any support acts. Plan for several hours at the venue, and check the event listing closer to the show for confirmed timing. An opening act has not been specified for these dates.
What is the best place to stand or sit at Irving Plaza?
Most Irving Plaza events use a general-admission standing floor, with limited seating that may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For a close view, arrive early and choose a spot that suits your preferred balance of proximity and space. Seating availability and layouts can vary by event.
Are there any less desirable viewing areas at Irving Plaza?
In a general-admission room, sightlines depend on crowd position and your height. Standing farther back may offer more room but less proximity to the stage; arriving later can also limit your choice of viewing position. Review the event's ticket details for any reserved or accessible options before purchasing.
Does Irving Plaza offer accessible seating and entry?
Irving Plaza lists an accessible section for qualified patrons, along with ramp access, accessible restrooms, and an elevator. Contact the venue directly before the event to confirm arrangements for your needs and the availability of accessible accommodations.
What are the parking options near Irving Plaza?
Irving Plaza does not operate its own parking facility. Metered street parking on Irving Place and nearby blocks is limited, while paid garages are available in the Gramercy and Union Square area. Public transit or rideshare is generally the more convenient choice for reaching the venue.
What is the easiest way to get to Irving Plaza by subway?
Union Square/14th Street is about a five-minute walk from Irving Plaza and is served by the L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, and 6 trains. The N and R trains also stop at 23rd Street. Rideshare and taxi drop-off is available on Irving Place near the venue.
Are there age restrictions or a bag policy for this concert?
Age requirements and bag rules can depend on the event and venue policy. These details have not been provided for the May 2027 performances, so check the specific event listing and Irving Plaza's current guidance before attending. Bring only essential items to help speed up entry.
How much do Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls tickets cost?
